User directory on NAS

Hi,

During 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7 i had my users on a NAS.

NFS becouse it was more stable than AFP

NFS mounting with Disk Utility.

With 10.8 i switched to automount still with NFS.

Simply /Users/xxx is a mount of NAS/xxx on /Users/.

It works but i get stability problems mostly concerning verything which is triggering mdworker:

- mail;

- addressbook;

- calander;

- safari;

- system preferences.

The issues also seem related to icloud. Disabling all icloud does seem to help but is not what i want.

Issues:

- mail hangs

- addressbook hangs and the directory on ' Application support' needs to be deleted

- mdworkers takes 50% cpu

thing like that.

Any tips on mount /Users on a NAS with 10.8?
