Disk Utilities can not fix "ACL found but not expected on" on Mac OS X8

This is not all that uncommon, if the computer is functioning OK ignore it. I've seen this on mine.

Not suggesting it is your approach but repairing permissions is often considered as mis-used with some people even using it as a form of housekeeping tool.

WRT repairing permissions in SL, http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448 says that "You can safely ignore these messages. You can also usually ignore any "ACL found but not expected..." message."

Your fine, those you can ignore if DU doesn't fix it twice.

This is more of a non-issue, you really do not need to "fix" anything. As posted above, these messages can be safely ignored. This is not just confined to 10.8, it has been there for multiple OSX's.

Permissions will constantly put themselves "out of order,and nearly always have no affect on system performance. If there is an issue you would usually get a message regarding that a process can not be done because of a permissions issue.

Really don't obsess about this as long as your machine is performing fine.
