Memory card & how to retrieve from inside iMac!!

Help!! my memory card for imac has gone inside! how can i get it out?! Ive never had this problem cos i usually slot it in nicely & somehow it got sucked in

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Did you put it into the memory card slot or the Superdrive slot?

If you look in the right column, there are several discussions on this subject - if it's in the Superdrive, someone posted a method; personally, I would take it to the nearest Genius Bar and ask their help to get it out.

Hi BDAqua! wasnt sure as i thought on the memory slot but having read the others in the site i realised i may have done so, so tried that trick with the cut out 6x4 inches from manilla folder and i was able to retrieve it phew!! And many thanks to u!

Many thks babowa for the prompt reply as i was worried! seems i must have put the card into the superdrive slot in error! Did the cut out trick(see message to BDAquaq). Thks again!
