FYI none of the instructions have fixed the issue for me and it's been over a year this has been going on for windows users.
Seriously, the sound should synched with the movie. Why should we have to change or adjust any settings?
the people who develop iTunes need to fix this, it is 2013, this audio being off for the movie is a 1950s problem.
