Apple replaced my hard drive because it was broken.
My other hard drive had all these apps on it
I wanted to use imovie today and it didn't show up in my apps so i looked for iphoto and garage band weren't on it
How do I get these apps back?
My mac is only 5 months old

GarageBand, iMovie and iPhoto don't come installed in OS X, so if Apple or you replaced or erased the hard disk, you have to install these applications again.
To do it, open the App Store, go to Purchases tab and download GarageBand, iPhoto and iMovie. You can download them as many times as you want for free.
These are the steps to follow on a Mac that didn't come with DVDs. If your computer came with DVDs, you have to use the Applications DVD or the Mac OS X Install Disc 2
Open the Mac App Store, sign in with the Apple ID the computer was registered with, click on the Purchases tab, and either choose Accept or download them from there. If neither is an option, phone Apple or go to the Mac App Store's home page and click on Support under Quick Links.

I didn't log into the app store once with my old hard drive 😟
That's because Apple already installs GarageBand, iPhoto and iMovie on your hard disk, so you don't have to do anything to get the applications. However, if you replace the hard disk, you have to reinstall them from App Store.
They are registered to your Apple ID, so don't worry because you will be able to install these apps

You should be able to log in the Mac App Store. What happens when you log in? Does it just ask you for a credit card? In that case, you may want to contact iTunes support > http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact

When you started up your computer for the first time, OS X, iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand are registered to your Apple ID if you used it to set up your computer (note that it has nothing to do with logging into the Mac App Store).

I factory-reseted my Macbook Pro and before that I had all the apps like garageband, iMovie etc.
And now, I cannot find them. I go to Appstore, AND IT COSTS!
Why? I am not gonna pay for apps I had before, why is it like this?
MAC Pro doesn't have imovie, iphoto or garage band
