What is the best way to connect an iMac and a Thunderbolt Display that are 5m apart?

I need to connect my Thunderbolt equipped iMac to a new Thunderbolt display, the problem is I need them 5m apart.


What is the best way to connect these devices?


Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.


Thunderbolt cables should not exceed three meters for maximum performance. The Apple Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt cable (2.0 m) is two meters in length.
