Does anyone have any advise when a Macbook Pro doesn't boot and has a blank screen? The fan is running but there are no backlights working.

Hi Becca308. I am having the same problem. Did you resolve this?
You could try:
1- Turn it on while pressing "option", then select "Macintosh HD" and boot it
2- Or if it doesn't work try turning it on while holding Command+Option+P+R or Command+Shift+P+R

I have a black screen and the fans are running, and I tried your advice, but do you have any more ideas? It didn't work for my computer.
