No. There is no version of Windows that runs on the PowerPC Mac.

Are you serious? That junk wasn't any good when it was new and you are trying to sell him on it now.
Allan
I used it for years: Your mileage may vary!
Actually I extracted the included version of Windows XP and use it to this day on my Intel Mac with its proper MS installation serial number.
You're not embarrased now because your answer was completely wrong? 😁
I don't call that old junk a valid solution. Back when it was being sold it was junk.

Is that why Microsoft purchased it from Connectix and continued to market it through the G5 Mac?
All I can say was that the performance was so miserable no one in our shop would use it. They ended up buying PCs for us to use instead because it was so abysmally slow.
Just be M$ bought doesn't prove much either. So frequently they purchase a companys just to make them go away. For instance take Danger that they bought and months later it was gone.

Big fuss at the time, you were considered a traitor to the Apple cause if you used it and not using everything from Apple instead.
Now cycle a few years ahead and we are on Intel processors and running Windows in BootCamp.

Yes, it was really slow I recall, but it showed potential and scared Microsoft enough to buy the company, which was likely their intention all along.
It's not a uncommon buisness practice, form a company that is such a threat to antoher to force a purchase and thus profit by it.

Check the facts: Microsoft bought the Product and continued to impove it and market it...

Like I said: the copy of Windows XP I used to run in my MacBook Pro Bootcamp and now in Parallels 8 on my Mac Mini is the same one I extracted from my copy of VirtualPC... Very enduring!

It's no longer distributed, look for a used copy (eBay etc)
I have it on my PowerBook g4 12" for non graphics intense software. FYI version 6.x works better than 7.
