Q: iCal server 10.7 403 error

I'm running an iCal server on a Mac Mini server 10.7. Our small organization has one large group calendar that's associated with a single user. A number of our staff use this calendar via iCal. Everything has been fine until recently. Now whenever someone tries to create a new calendar under this user they receive the following error message:

The server responded with an error.

Access to account "(server name here)" is not permitted.

The server responded:

"403"

to operation

CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation.

In my searches I have not been able to find any other users with this error message. We've also had some other odd issues with the calendars recently, including inability to create all-day events (this seems oddly limited to certain computers, even though they're all using the same operating system, iCal version and user account). Has anyone else had similar troubles with iCal server?

I should also mention that there are other user accounts on the server, but the staff here doesn't want to have separate calendars for each, so they all use the one shared account. When I try to create new calendars under other users there are no problems. I've considered trying to move the shared calendars to a new user account, but there's no easy way to move that mass of data, other than copying and pasting. So I'm saving that as a last resort. It's a lot of data. But it makes me wonder if iCal server might inherently have problems with too much calendar data under any given user...

I just got this error after trying to add my 49th calendar. I know that seems like a lot, but what in the world could be stopping it? Have you found a solution yet??
