I have Windows 8. I bought 2 new albums in itunes. Whenever I tried to burn them to a cd my cd burner is not recognized. It's like I don't even have one on my computer, but I do.

I found a couple of articles that have steps for troubleshooting issues with burning CDs in iTunes on a Windows computer. I would start with reviewing this first article:
