Credit card instead of existing balance for purchase

Can I charge a credit card instead of deducting from my current account balance? I need to buy software for which I can be reimbursed, and it's much easier if I can show a credit card transaction.

I'm not sure how he proposes gifting Mac software, it isn't available in the Mac App Store.

Unfortunately the system will debit any credit balance that you have on your account first. But if you haven't bought anything for three or four days prior to buying the software that you want and if the software that you want is the only thing that you buy at that moment, it will be the only thing that is on the receipt that you will receive by email in a day of two after the purchase. Print that and turn it in for reimbursement.
