May 28, 2013 7:49 PM in response to Csound1by rebook,Well, I downloaded the free version from the link you sent. I did not upgrade for $. The wmv file plays, but without audio.
So I saw another option someone suggested, called iSkysoft Video Converter. I downloaded it. It converted the wmv movie and plays it on Quick Time, WITH AUDIO. However, this one is not free. But I guess to get sound, I have to pay something
I'm glad you're out there and appreciate the help. I'm a fairly new Apple convert, so I need all the help I can get.
Thankful,
rebook

May 29, 2013 7:14 AM in response to Csound1by rebook,Yes -- Flip just didn't work for me.
So to end this saga, I purchased iSkysoft and it's working perfectly.
Thanks again for hanging in there with me.

May 29, 2013 7:31 AM in response to rebookby Csound1,You're welcome, and sorry you had to spend some money (but I still don't understand why Flip is not working, it's an old remedy that normally does it)
