Can I reformat a video ipod from a mac format to a windows format?
I am wanting to give my old video ipod to my mother. The problem is that I use a mac and she uses a PC. Am I able to reformat this ipod to a PC for her?

Hello there Kelly,
When you follow the regular syncing steps outlined in this article named iOS: Syncing with iTunes found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1386, iTunes in Windows will prompt you that the iPod needs to be erased and synced. That process will format the iPod to the use the Windows file system.
