Install OSX 10.8 onto computer other than my own

Can i use my 10.8 USB installer on another computer other than my own if they have purchased a copy from app store but not made their own disk. Or do i need to make a USB boot disk from a fresh download?

It will be a clean install on a new SSD drive on a 2011 Macbook pro.
