Mac Desktop screen cleaning options

Apple online advice says a damp lint free cloth is an option to clean my Desktop screen, but Apple store advise against.

I also have a spray bottle of Monster iClean that I have had for about 10 years.

Does anyone know : a) if it is still safe to use the iClean, or could it have degraded over time and no longer be viable, and possible have an adverse effect on the screen ?

b) any other options ?
