What can Apple not fix on my phone, and have to replace?

My 4S has multiple problems, none of which are due to my fault. I did however crack my screen but this doesn't bother me and I can live with it. But I would like apple to either repair or replace my phone. I'd like to know exactly what they cannot fix on my phone that would force them to replace it. I'm not planning on breaking my phone on purpose or anything like that. I just wish to know if I can get it replaced?

Apple has, as have many manufacturers of phones and other devices of this class, have at this time decided as their standard policy to replace iPhones, not repair them. They don't do any repairs (with the exception of the back glass in the iPhone 4 and 4S) of a customer's iPhone. So if you want Apple to service your iPhone, they will only handle it as a replacement, and with the cracked glass will almost certainly not do so under warranty.
