May 29, 2013 8:46 AMby King_Penguin,There are instrctions on this page for how to create a new account (it won't work with existing account) without giving a credit card number : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534 e.g. select a free app in the store and click on 'create Apple id' when 'buying' it.
