If you have access to the old phone then turn off imessage there. If not then
Delete the phone from your profile in https://supportprofile.apple.com
Logoff your AppleID in the Messages setting, and turn off iMessage.

Did you do this:
Go to: https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do
Log in if not already logged in.
Click on "Edit Products"
Click on the "X" to the right of the product.
Click "Unregister"
Also, you might want to see about getting a new keyboard for your computer. There seems to be something wrong with the exclamation point key. It appears to be stuck.
Same problem but will the unregistered phone still be able to use my paid apps??????????
