Please help me uninstall Mackeeper. Purchased it thinking it was an Apple product (bit of a dinosaur). I've had it installed for the 2 months and noticed some glitches in trying to run it. I have since found out it's purely malware and to get rid of it. I've tried the Trash but it bounces back. If anyone has come across this issue please HELPPPP!! thank you

One other well regarded authority on this matter is Phil Stokes ...
I was able to get rid of this pesky thing by trashing the following folder:
/Library/Application Support/VSearch
Just use Finder to go here & drag the entire folder to the trash. Then restart your computer to complete the process. Hope this works for everyone else.
I bet you haven't got rid of it.
