May 29, 2013 11:38 PM in response to dholmisby King_Penguin,How has the card been formatted ? From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4101 :
- Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP)
- Mass Storage Device protocol
- SDSC
- SDHC
- miniSD
- microSD
- MMC
- SDXC (supported only when not formatted as ExFAT)
So if it's formatted as ExFAT then it won't be recognised.

May 30, 2013 4:25 AM in response to dholmisby Skydiver119,You can check how it's formatted and reformat it with your computer. However, going by another user's experience, when you reformat it, you'll lose about half the capacity of that card. So if you need 64 gig, I'd return it and buy SDHC in stead of SDXC

May 30, 2013 5:16 AM in response to dholmisby wegras,You can use a program like this
http://www.partition-tool.com/easeus-partition-manager/help/about.htm
I need it to fix a similar problem with an Airstash device and a 64gb SDXC
Will take any SDxx card as long as it is Fat32 and windows will not format that on this card
So above program does and card now works perfectly at full capacity .I used the free version and it worked fine
