Greyed out wifi

I had this greyed out wifi problem for over 2 weeks and applied every solution I saw in Internet (Reset, Recover, format and etc.), but it didn't work, so I contacted Apple Support, and they said it is hardware problem. My question is will Apple give me a new phone or refurbished one or fix it? Note that I bought my phone in December 2012, so it is about 5-6 months old.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4

since u are in a warranty period they will first try to solve the issue and if it is not cleared in that piece then they will replace it with a new one....this is done provided u have warranty and u have not jailbroken or something like that...
