Problems with my account and Auto download.

I have a problem with the new version of iTunes and Auto-download, but it got worse. Now iTunes wont even let me download anything new. It prompts with "Sign into iTunes Store" so I type in my password over and over and the same thing still pops up (I did it 10 times straight today). I know the password is correct, because it lets me download songs on my iPhone, but not on my iPad or Macbook Pro... This (The Prompt) has happened for over 2 weeks now. Auto-download stopped working for me after the latest version of iTunes came out.

I Have seen many that say to look at your email receipt and file a complaint from there, but I turned that option off years ago.

Hi jrobin39!

I have a couple of guesses for what this could be, and I'm going to provide you with a couple links to help you troubleshoot this issue further. The first thing I would try for troubleshooting would be to sign out of every instance of the iTunes account possible in all of your devices and then try to sign in to them again. Next, follow these troubleshooting steps on your computer to attempt to stop that prompt from coming up when attempting to download:

iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases

It's also possible that you have two step verification turned on for your iTunes account. There is an article about that right here:

Apple ID: Frequently asked questions about two-step verification for Apple ID

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5570

If you do have two step verification turned on and are having trouble signing in with it turned on, you will need to reference this article:

Apple ID: Can't sign in with two-step verification

Hope that helps. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!
