FaceTime doesn't work anymore on my Macbook pro i5, Lion 10.7.5, Intel HD-video 3000. Why???

I found an article with steps for troubleshooting FaceTime on your MacBook Pro. There are specific steps under the section titled, "Troubleshooting FaceTime for Mac" in the following article:

Additionally, if you are getting the specific message, "An internal FaceTime error occurred. There was a problem with FaceTime. You need to quit and open FaceTime again," you will need to single click on FaceTime on the dock to open it. You can find the article that talks about this issue here:
