This is primarily a user-to-user site so you have to be patient.

Make sure your Nano is off and do not connect it to your computer or any charger.

Get a bowl of raw rice or go to a hobby store and get new silica gel packets and put the Nano in the rice or packets. Put the bowl in a cool dry place and leave it alone for 4 - 5 days.

When it is done drying clean off any dust/residue and connect the Nano to power and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. While it is on the charger Reset it, it might take several tries. If it revives fully charge it and check that everything is working.

Im probably way to late, but just for future reference, put it in a bag of rice for about ten days and make sure it is fully covered up, then, your going to open the bag just enough to put a charger in it, you will plug it in for about 2 days while its still in the bag of rice. take it out and restart it. if problems are still going on you need to spend about 20 bucks on a screen removel kit, when you got it, take the glass off and take a blow dryer on LOW and considerably far away and blow dry for about ten minutes, if it is still not working than you can remove the memory chip and take apart a different ipod to install the memory chip, you can see how via youtube. :"taking the memory card out of an ipod nano". can be difficult but it worked for me and its better than spending 100$ for another 32 gig.
