Q: incoming mail server

In account preferences, I try to save my icloud changes, and it says "The Incoming Mail Server cannot be empty."  But it is not empty.  There is a server listed there, but it is not highlighted, wo I can't change it.  Any ideas?

    You're not supposed to edit the incoming mail server for an icloud account on a system that is icloud compatible.

     

    If you're having mail issues, click your apple >> system preferences >> icloud.  Uncheck mail.  Wait a moment.  Recheck it.

     

    Mail should automatically setup.
