Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

May 30, 2013 4:16 PM in response to lllaassby georgerou1,I tried pretty much everything...I even uninstalled-installed the itunes again!I believe it is an apple issue!I'll be trying again tomorrow.I will update you after I'm done!Thanks for your help

My iPod is in recovery mode and when iTunes recognise it tells me that I have to restore it first!I try to restore it and after it has finished extracting the software it shows me the error I shown you yesterday...
