Can I have two contact files... no syncing on second, just or demo purpose
iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 8gig ram
just for demo purpose and only one open at a time...

I have no idea what you're asking.
Sure, load one into the local (On My Mac) account and the other into a Cloud account (iCloud, Google, Yahoo etc)
Forget Yahoo.
