Stuck on OS X Lion Recovery Installation. It takes hours, HELP!
Hello guys,
I've been driving myself nuts trying to reinstall OS X Lion to my Macbook
OMG what a pain in the a...
I bought a Macbook because they are suposed to e EASY and user friendly, but this is far from that
I need to reinstall OS X Lion on my macbook, so i went on and started it on The Recovery utility in order to reinstall it
After that, one of the worst decitions ever made by me
Everything seems fine until the "Downloading additional components. The computer will reboot autimatically" message appears
and the Download/install progress says it will take 200 hours!!
then it goes to more then 200 hundred and so on
At some point i got to get down to 4 hours but then it started to climb up and again it went all the way up to 80 hours and so on
I have a pretty good internet connection
I tried setting DNS to my ips default
i tried everything i can
I erased the data on my disk as the instructions told me to
now i find my macbook pro is useless and stuck in the recovery window
This is very very frustrating since i dont think it will ever finish downloading
What am i suposed to do?? I cant go back to my previous
