Why will Do Not Disturb Not Let Calls From My Favorites List Through?

Kind of an odd issue. My wife and I both have iPhone 5s. The only difference between them is that she has a white one, and I have a black one. My Do Not Disturb works fine. However, I set my wife's phone up the same way, allowing calls from "favorites" and repeat callers. However, when it is in DND mode, it will not take calls from my number. And yes, I double-checked to make sure my number was in the "favorites" section. Any thoughts?
