Using Airport Extreme and Airport Express with Virgin Media Superhub

Hi

After 19 months of grief and poor service with our internet provider - BT (British Telecom), we had fibre installed yesterday from Virgin Media.

With BT I didn't use the provided Home Hub and instead used my AEBS as the main router.

However, as Virgin Media is a cable company, I need to use the cable modem supplied.

I want to be able to extend the VM networks (2.4 and 5) or just run separte networks for my children so I can monitor there use and times.

Has anyone got any experience of this.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

Hello, AppleMacCider.

Thank you for the question. You can extend the range or create separate networks with the ISP's provided access point. These articles should help to get you started.
