what do I do when iphoto doesn't recognize username and password combination?

iPhoto Menu ->

Preferences ->

Accounts ->

Delete and recreate your email settings.

Alternatively, use Apple's Mail for the job. It has Templates too - and more of them.

I tried this on two difference machines and it don's seem to work. Just get the same error. Any other suggestions? It used to work reasonable well, not it kaput.

The answer that has worked for hundreds of people is

in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it

OR

IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences
