My iTunes worked fine yesterday but today I can't get it to open. What could be causing this?

I don't understand why my iTunes worked perfectly yesterday but today I can't get it to open at all. I did the autoruns.zip and that didn't help at all. I also redownloaded the iTunes but that didn't help either. Can you help me? Thank you, Lynne Heimann
