Printing Manager Crash using Lexmark Z53 on Airport Express with iTunes
Has anyone noticed problems with printers attached to a Airport Express lately? I guess I'm wondering if there was an update that changed the print manager software.
I have a Lexmark Z53 connected to an Airport Express with iTunes and it used to print fine, but lately it seems to have stopped printing and none of my Mac OSX 10.4.6 machines (mini & G5) can print to it. I can print to the AE attached Z53 printer using my Windoz XP machine and the windows machine seems to work fine at sending a printjob to the printer when it's attached to an AE, but it seems like the Mac 10.4.6 can't seem to print to this printer when it's attached to the AE. The Mac can see the printer, but when I try to print something it spools and seems to start sending the print job to the printer, but the spooler stops and I end up with no output (the printer does nothing) and the the spooler stops all jobs on the printer. Does anyone have any ideas on how to try to figure out this problem?
I actually started looking at the log messages and found a printer log of an error. Here is what I got in /var/log/syslog:
