Q: ipad2 and ipad mini will not connect to my home network

I have a home network using a Airport Express(1st generation). Connected to this is my Cable modem. I have the following connected and working to this network:

MacBook Air, Samsung wireless BD player, Epson Wireless printer, iPone 4s.

 

The iPad 2 just stopped connecting. So I was thinking that the Wireless in the iPad2 was not working. I then bought an iPad mini and this is doing the same thing. I have done the following:

 

1. reset the network settings on the iPad2 and the mini

2. unplugged the Airport Express and plugged it back in

3. checked for updates for the Airport Express.

4. Unplugged the Cable modem and the Airport Express and plugged everything  back in.

 

What I will do next:

1. Take both iPads to another place to see if they connect to another wireless network.

2. Do a hard reset on the Airport Express and start all over.
