Q: Sharing USB 1TB across the network to Windows computers

Do you mean SMB? If so I have turned on already.
Or the client side? Sharing is on, on the windows computers. I can access the mac and shared folders from the internal Hard Drive just not on the USB drives.

Vista is the computer I upgraded from as the host, now it is out of the question. Yes sharing is on the client side. This needs to work on 2 windows 7s and a Windows 8 computer.
This seems to be a windows connectivity problem or a server side problem. I do not have another Mac to test afp connectivity.

I do not see this being a windows problem as of right now. I would love to blame windows because I am huge Apple fan.
When I view the info of the drives under Sharing & Permissions I just see "You can read and write" is that what it should be or should I have the table as if it was a file on the internal Hard Drive?

I know you do not "speak windows" but if there is someone that does the exact wording of the error is:
"\\HOST-NAME\USB-NAME is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

The parameter is incorrect."

With HOST-NAME and USB-NAME being different for obvious reasons.

All of those things are good. It works perfectly sharing folders on the internal HDD
