Once I have the "plug into iTunes" picture on my phone....

I am trying to restore my phone but it says "This device is not eligible for the requested build".

The instructions say that I must have unauthorized modificaitons and that they should be removed first.

How do I uninstall unauthorized modifications? I can't even get into anything on my phone!!

So, what do I do now??

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1

If your iPhone has been jailbroken or hacked to unlock it from a carrier you will not get help here. The terms of use of this forum prohibit discussing unsupported activities on the phone.

it really does not, and none of us can help you. Discussing devices with unauthorized mods is against of rules of Apple communities. At that point Google is your best friend, good luck.
