The device featured looked very similar to something I purchased in the states a couple of years back. It had a big G stamped on the front. So I downloaded the software for the iMic and guess what- IT WORKS. ! Just trying to work out how I seperate the tracks that I have downloaded of a record as at the moment 8 tracks are listed as one.
I use Toast, which comes with "CD Spin Doctor"
It allows you to put an analog connection into your Mac and record tapes, vinyl, etc.
Toast alone is worth the price, but CD Spin Doctor is great for this purpose - which I use a lot.
Bummer, sadly, I almost never see a G4 iBook.
I forget that Apple stopped putting in audio as standard years ago...my bad for being a Mac guy for 21 years.
