Can I upload videos taken on my iPhone to Photo Stream?

The user guide says I can back up photos and videos in my camera Roll of my iPhone 5 onto iCloud, but the videos do not show up on my Photo Stream. Can I upload videos taken on my iPhone to Photo Stream to play pn my Mac?

Photo Stream IS NOT a backup. It will only show the last 1000 photos taken on your iPhone. And no, you cannot "upload" video to photo stream.

If you need to backup, use iTunes. Your videos will not be backed up, but they will be synched.
