Q: Share to Apple Device, FCP Event

QuickTime Player can't open "Hot Fun (1920 x 1080).m4v-TEMP" because the movie's file format isn't recognized.  What gives?

    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

     

    If you have issues playing media from a third-party device, make sure the software that accompanied the device is installed on your computer.

    Also try renaming the file to end in .m4v only.
