Hi all...

I have a PM G4 733, and it has a weird problem....

When i plug the AC cable in the power supply, the power button lights up, and stay that way... even if press him, the PM don't start....

I already try, all kinds of reset, exchange the power supply, for one that i know that works, and exchange the logic board, for one that i have SURE that works....

But the problem, persist.... some thoughts??

Thanks, and sorry my english....

Hi

the only thing left I can think of is that the front panel board (the printed circuit board containing the power, reset and programmer buttons) has failed or developed a fault. Either that or the small ribbon cable that connects it to the logic board has become pinched or damaged. To access the board you need to remove the metal shield by pressing the two tabs in with your thumbs.
