Jun 2, 2013 3:39 PM in response to appleteach21by Csound1,You need iWorks, Textedit or Preview to save to iCloud, if you use iWork you need it at each end (Mac - iPad etc)

Jun 3, 2013 2:03 PM in response to Csound1by Tinafromwi,My Mac tells me however that Iwork has been discontinued. I am havibg the same problem - I want to load a document to the cloud (so I can access it on the IPAD) but do not understand how to load it.

Jun 3, 2013 2:09 PM in response to appleteach21by pvonk,What type of documents? What application on the mac are you using to try to save to icloud? "only on my laptop" - does this mean you are able to save using something else? More info please.

Jun 3, 2013 2:12 PM in response to pvonkby Tinafromwi,Thank you for responding. I have written a document in Pages on my MacBook Pro which I wish to upload to the cloud so I can view it in pages on the IPAD and make any adjsutments. I have both machines switched on to recognise the cloud but when I try and save it in pages straight to the Icloud it does not give me the option. All I can see is Save (and then of course the edited version is saved onto the laptop).
Thanks
