deleting search bar (delete in win)

When a go to a web site and begin to search all of my previous searches comes up.

So if i have misspelled something, it's there.

In Win i just mark the row with up/down key and pres delete, and the job is done, but not her om Mac =(

This is so frustrating, Shift+backspace... Shift+FN+backspace... ctrl+backspace... alt+backspace... Cmd+backspace... Is a NO-GO.

Why can´t it be simple?
