Jun 1, 2013 8:17 PM in response to randers4by Malcolm222,Yes i backed it up on itunes not icloud. And my phone was almost full as well. I tried erasing all the content, and then restoring it from the back up but it says that my phone has "no space".

There's a post here describing a way to use 3rd party software to edit the backup and remove some of the content so it will fit on your device in situations like this. I have no personal experience with this, but as it was marked as correct, I thought I would pass it along: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4777587?start=0&tstart=0.
If you want to try doing this, I would recommend you back up your backup first in case something goes wrong. You'll find the backup at one of the following locations:
- Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
- Windows Vista/7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
- Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
