iPad 2 ios 6.1.3 no volume FIXED

Earlier today my daughter was watching cartoons on YouTube then I noticed it went quite the volume had disappeared. I double tapped the home button closed all open apps scrolled right and the slide bar for volume was gone I checked if the mute switch was down but it wasn't next I went into settings then sound and settings were ok. I then reset all the settings back to factory settings but still no volume. Cleaned the USB charger, docking connection and headphone jack with a toothbrush but still no volume so I plugged it into iTunes created a back up then done a restore back to factory settings on there and then.

I fixed it woohoo.

I restored my iPad from the back up I had waited till it was done then removed all my apps to be synced removed everything else aswell tones, music, videos, books and photos then re-synced my iPad then once it was finished I pressed the eject button for my iPad on iTunes and I have my volume back.

I really hope this works for everyone else as I spent nearly 15 hours trying everything to sort this.
