Usually, that means you will want to review the account you're using; that's the "click review when you're asked to review your account" stuff from HT2589. Check that all the data from your account is correct and current.
Check the latest iTunes (v 11.0.4). The change list includes the note:
"...addresses and issue that may require you to log into the iTunes Store repeatedly."
I don't know if that's your issue, but it can't hurt 🙂
Bumped into a case where iTunes 11.0.3 (42) wasn't honoring the AppleID, and that was resolved by exiting and restarting iTunes. Smells of bug, yes.
