Q: I-Cloud

I get the message, "This iPad hasn’t been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi." However, I can't connect to Wi-Fi at the moment and my I-pad is locked in this state.  How can I use my I-pad?

iPad, iOS 6.1.4

Welcome to Apple Support Communities

 

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until the device restarts, so you will be able to use your iPad again. This should work correctly, so you don't have to start in recovery and restore your device to default settings
