the support article you came from -Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers - is your only hope.
You need to contact Apple with a proof of purchase. Do you still have the installer disk to prove that you bought the application?
Do you have a second mac with Aperture running? Then you can see the serial number in the "About" panel: From Aperture's main menu bar > Aperture > About Aperture
