Q: How can I upload 5GB of data if I have more then 5 GB?

I want to upload 5GB of my photos onto iCloud, but I have 6.8GB of photos. I was just wondering if I could upload only some of the photos? Thanks

iOS 6.1.4, iCloud

If you are talking about uploading using photo stream, they don't count against your storage.  The only other place that photos are stored in iCloud is your iCloud backup, which contains camera roll photos.  For this, you either have to included all of them or none of them.

One option is to import them to you computer and delete them from your device (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then sync them back to your device from the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings.  They will then appear in your photo library folder, with is not included in the iCloud backup (since the photos are already backed up on your computer), and thus will not take up any storage in iCloud.
