Why has my App Store changed to a Chinese one?

Change back App Store

1. Tap "Settings"

2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"

3. Tap on your Apple ID

4.Tap "View Apple ID"

5. Enter your user name and password.

6. Tap "Country/Region."

7. Tap "Change Country/Region"

8. Select the region where you are located.

9. Tap "Done".

This happens to me all the time. Try scroll to bottom of page. In the lower Right Hand corner, you will see a little flag (probably a Chinese or Hong Kong flag) click on it ! that will bring up a list of countries for the apple store, pick USA or UK i.e. English speaking county & select their flag BINGO you are back to English ! hope that helps !

IF you already have apps that aren't available in Chinese store downloaded to your device, this will work- wait for one of your apps (not in Chinese store) to need an update. Click update and it will say something like you are in the wrong store to update in, so clicke change store and it changes back to your original country/region of store.

My App Store is Chinese too, but when I do the steps people are saying, to go to settings and change the region, I get there and it says it's already a US App Store???? Is that how it's supposed to be and I just need to complete it?

those steps would be easy if they were in english. I have the same problem!

t won't give me access to the Country/Region feature because it says I have to cancel my Apple Music membership. So I cancelled the trial and it still wont let me in.

I went to bed last and my App Store was in English, this morning it’s in Chinese. I have signed out and back into the App Store, both on my iPhone 6s+ as well as on my laptop. I’ve tried my language/region settings on iPhone. I’ve tried the update app trick but apps updated with no problem. I should mention at this point I noticed the headings in the store were Chinese but each individual app summary was English. When I go the the App Store app on iPhone it just Says App Store and in Chinese in front of it.

I have the same issue and I don't know chinese.

How to switch it back?

This happened to me too. Here how I fixed it. First sign out of your Apple ID. Then sign back in. It will say that this Apple ID is only for the US App Store and it will tell you that it is changing the Language of the App Store to English.
