I Desperately need Help with Apple TV

I recently bought an Apple TV and I getting this error:
"your HDMI cable does not support HDCP or is not properly connected"

Things I've tried:
1. Reconnecting HDMI cable
2. Buying new HDMI cable (Currently have the one from Apple)
3. Buying new Apple TV
4. Changing video quality (changed to 720p 60Hz)
5. Changing iTunes Video quality (Changed to Standard Definition)
6. Restarting Apple TV
7. Turning TV on, off, then back on

Facts about my current TV:

It's a Plasma TV from Pioneer

  • Bought June 2005
  • Model: PDP - 435OSX
  • 60Hz
  • 120 Volts

When I get the Error:

When I try to watch a movie over Airplay from my iPod touch 4g

When I try to watch content from Netflix
When I try to watch content from Trailers
When I try to watch a movie from "Purchased" (All movies are in SD)

Don't get the error when watching things on Youtube
Don't get the error when watching trailers from Movies
